Growing in Christ through Outreach – John 14:6
NiteLife begins Wednesday, September 8. NiteLife is a fresh approach to meet new people and have fun together, all in an uplifting weekly environment. All groups include a devotional and prayer time in addition to the group activity. Family meals are served from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Faith-Friendly Groups meet from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Childrens activities are listed below.
Kids’ Camp is a high-energy program for kids through 6th Grade.
Ignite Jr Hi Youth Group for 7th & 8th graders will also be meeting on Wednesday evenings.

Fall Session: Sept 12-Nov 14. Elective studies for adults to learn and grow in your faith. Listen, discuss, and apply the Bible to your everyday life. Classes are provided for children from birth thru high school during the 9:15 session. Childcare from birth thru preschool is offered during the 8:00 session and the 10:40 session.

Study Group U & Club Tongie-Starting Fall 2010
Club Tongie begins September 8. New Clubs for all adults! Club Tongie is a fresh approach to meet new people and have fun together, all in an uplifting weekly environment. Clubs that will be available include; Parenting, Volleyball, Paper Crafts, Fantasy Football, Prayer, Bible Study, Weightloss… Kids’ Camp is a high-energy program for kids under 6th grade. Jr. High Youth Group will also be meeting on Wednesday evenings. The family meal begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by Clubs/Camp at 6:30 p.m.
Study Group U begins September 12. Elective studies for adults make Study Group U a great place to learn and to grow in your faith. Listen, discuss, and apply the Bible to everyday life. Electives are offered for adults of all ages and stages of spiritual maturity. Plus, bring the kids for Sunday School and youth programs. Electives will be held at 8:00, 9:15, or 10:40 a.m.
Missions Golf Tournament-September 11, 2010
Join us for our 5th annual Missions Golf Tournament on September 11. The event is a four-person scramble to support TCC’s missions efforts. The tournament will be held at Village Green Golf Club in Ozawkie, Kansas. Lunch and Registration begins at noon. Shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Cost is $55/individual, or $220/team. Hole Sponsorship is $50 for one and $25 for each additional hole.
Missions Sunday-August 8, 2010
Dr. Michael L. Sweeney from the Emmanuel School of Religion will be presenting on Missions Sunday at 6:00 p.m. An ice cream social will follow the presentation.
Men’s Prayer Lunch-August 7, 2010
On Saturday, August 7 at 11:30 a.m. join the men of TCC for a time of fellowship and food. The lunch will be held in the Family Life Center. This is a special edition of the bi-monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast.
Leadership Seminar – July 31
The Christian Education team has paired with the TCC elders to conduct a Christian Leadership Seminar this summer. The seminar will take place in TCC’s Fellowship Hall on Saturday, July 31, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Don Waddell, Involvement Minister at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY, will be our guest speaker for the seminar. He will speak on “The Leadership Secrets of Jesus the Christ.”
Refreshments will be served during the seminar.
Following this open leadership seminar, elders and deacons will continue to meet until noon.

CIY M&M Fundraiser
Dozens of our high schoolers are heading to Michigan at the end of June to attend the Christ in Youth conference. We have one last fundraiser to help cover the expenses.
Stop by the church for a mini M&M container. Simply fill the tube with quarters (or any donation) and return them to the church. You can drop them off outside of worship on June 20 or 27, or return them to the church office. Thanks for your support!
Library Reading Program – Summer 2010
Kids in grades K-8 are invited to participate in our church library’s summer reading contest. Prizes are awarded for every five books read. The contest runs through August. Visit the library today for more info (and to check out a book!).
New Ways Singers-June 19
The New Ways Singers from Nebraska Christian College will be performing at Tonganoxie High School Performing Arts Center June 19, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. This group will be featuring local Tonganoxie Christian Church talent; Carlea Richert, Lexi Faherty, Sagan Scates, Jonas Myers, Preston Putthoff, and Jake Reynolds. This concert is open to the public.
